An eight year courtship led to a very happy ending for Eric Low and Glyn Tan, who tied the knot at Raffles Hotel Singapore, with a lavish eight-course dinner banquet at The Ballroom.
Their decision to go with a simple elegant setting was inspired by the venue itself and its champagne-coloured wedding theme. "We really love the look and ambience of Raffles Hotel where everything is so vintage and magical," says the bride. They worked with the hotel's floral vendor, JM Floral to choose the right blooms to match the occasion. "We never knew that green eustomas went well with pink roses!"
Their special day was captured by award-winning wedding photographer John Lim, who also took their pre-wedding shots in Kyoto. "We always felt it was more important to capture a moment or a mood rather than have tonnes of posed photos. John has that special eye and talent to do that plus he's an all-round great guy."
The highlight of the night was the couple's second march-in where Eric and his groomsmen belted out a song for their 200 guests.
