If the name Kleting Titis Wigati sounds somewhat familiar, we can tell you why. This talented designer entered the Indonesian prêt-à-porter world back in 2009 through her fashion brand, KLÉ. And after throwing a one-of-a-kind wedding celebration by the magnificent Borobudur temple, she has stolen the limelight yet again.
Kleting had been dating Rocky Soerapoetra for a year and being the adventurous souls that they are, Rocky proposed to her on a scuba dive trip. "We have a lot of things in common, but if I have to state one difference between us, I would say that I'm a messier person than Rocky," shared Kleting about the differences that united her and her husband even more.
During the wedding planning, Kleting did not face too much trouble. "My family helped me a lot with the planning, and everything was beautiful and under control. The secret behind it is to not try to be so much in control. Instead, I learned to let go and just enjoy the process," shared Kleting.
Tradition, colors, nature, spirituality, and grace were the key elements that inspired Kleting's wedding theme. She was also overwhelmed by happiness when she saw the impressive work done by her wedding vendors. "They really understood my concept and were able to apply it perfectly. Even the anggrek bulan flower arrangements came just the way I had always thought of. And also, everyone told me how they loved the food so much," said Kleting who chose the flying lanterns, horse carriage, akad ceremony, and majestic view of the Borobudur temple as the most memorable moments of her wedding day. "But above everything else, the happiness and love shared with everyone was so incredible," added Kleting.
