Marsha first met Diza through a mutual friend nine years ago, but they only started dating seven years after when they encountered each other again in London. At the time, Diza was pursuing his master's degree while Marsha was attending a work training program. After a year of dating and discussions about marriage, Diza directly asked Marsha's parents for their blessing.

Marsha is Sundanese while Diza has Jambi Malay roots, so the pair decided to adapt traditions from both cultures into their wedding. For the akad ceremony, they embraced their Jambi Malay heritage, while Sundanese traditions were incorporated into the reception. Dressed in a pair of all-white baju kurung, Marsha and Diza looked stunning standing next to each other. "We chose lavender as the main color for the ceremony, while peach was used for the reception. We adjusted the flowers with the colors of our wardrobe for both events," shared Marsha.

"We chose Fairmont Jakarta as our venue because of its strategic location," explained Marsha, whose wedding was attended by more than 2,000 guests. Marsha admitted that she felt both anxious and excited on the wedding day, but thankfully she had some help from the people close to her. "Preparing a wedding can be so stressful and exhausting. But, if you have a very supportive family and accommodating vendors, the whole process will be a lot easier and also fun."

She also reminded future brides to not forget about their relationship when planning a wedding. "Your relationship with your fiancé is the most important thing, so you need to take some time to go on casual dates during the wedding planning. It will really help to loosen up the tensions that can cause fights between the both of you," said Marsha.
