A pair of lovers living in the States were making arrangements to holiday in Bali, one of the most enchanting islands in the world. Yes, Bali. It’s an island where people from far away nominate as the most ideal place to exchange marriage pledges in a memorable Bali Wedding. Were they, April and Tom, just planning a regular holiday? That doesn’t seem to be the case. Tom had secretly planned to steal a precious moment in which he would make a marriage proposal to April. And for that very purpose Tom needed a romantic location. After browsing the Net for interesting venues in Bali, they opted for Lake Tamblingan. The atmosphere surrounding the lake is very mystical in the early morning. They also stumbled upon the pages of a website featuring Balinese Pre-Wedding photographs taken around Lake Tamblingan. April immediately contacted the owner of the website dubbed ‘I Love Bali Photography’ which turned out to be a local brand, because she thought they would need professional photographers to help them immortalize the best moments they would share in Bali. They exchanged emails and agreed upon a mutually satisfying deal. They made meticulous plans and arrangements to ensure a series of smooth photo sessions. One day prior to the actual shooting they met the photography team. An early morning trip to Lake Tamblingan was scheduled to make sure they wouldn’t miss the best photographic moments for the day. And finally, the moments they had been anticipating were slowly unfolding: the marriage proposal. Although feeling rather uncertain they tried to relax. A make-up team specially appointed for the photo session did their job before the tour began. During the three-hour trip to the location Toma and April tried take some rest in the speeding car. Arriving at the location they were greeted by an eerie darkness, but it was OK. It was a lot better than coming late and sorely miss the best photographic moments. With the aid of some LED spotlights the whole team tried to find the ideal spots where they would launch the photo sessions. Tom and April looked pretty awkward at the start, but finally the crew tried a few approaches to break the ice and they clients started to feel at ease. Following the warming-up shots, the photographer ushered them to the main spot where Tom had planned to ask April to marry him. It was wooden platform floating on the lake’s surface. And on that very spot Tom said the words he had always wanted to say to ask April to be his bride. What a romantic scene! Following the successful procession of the marriage proposal, they explored a few places surrounding Lake Tamblingan to continue the photo session. They stopped at pine forest near the lake and managed to take a few great pictures there. Congratulations, April and Tom! You guys are truly inspirational.
