Paul & Tintin Tirtha Luhur Wedding
by Flying Bride

Updated on 16 April 2015

Tintin is passionate about healthy living and eating. Together with Paul, they founded Cocofrio, a certified organic coconut milk ice cream. The range of flavour Cocofrio offers and its colorful packaging inspired me to use these colors as their wedding color palette. Hence blue, tan, brown, shades of mango and golden honeycomb were chosen as their wedding color palette. Hence blue, tan, brown, shades of mango and golden honeycomb were chosen as their wedding color palette. Shimmering gold also plays another important meaning as it represents champagne, which played a big part in Paul’s proposal to Tintin. The venue where that proposal took place has glass wall everywhere. Hence, I designed their reception dinner to incorporate crystal underplates and glasses, ghost chairs, and various sparkling lightbulb to bring the sparkles of champagne and glasses into their beautiful wedding day. In terms of decoration, since Paul’s favorite season is the Spring where there are blossoming flowers, green leaves, sunshine, and bright days, we combined various beautiful flowers and leaves arranged in a botanical arrangement. We also used glamorous candelabras, light bulbs and fairy lights to represent sunshine to brighten their wedding day. The final touch we included into the wedding was Azulejos tiles (Portugal tiles), which Tintin loves. Transformed to the color palette of the wedding, its interesting pattern was shown in all the stationeries of the wedding including their customized cushions, table runners, and even on the wedding cake! It was indeed an amazing wedding that has a very special place in my heart. I was so humbled to receive the couple's lovely feedback I have included their testimony in this post as well.
