CIARA WEDDING Shoes

As Founder & Creative Director of Femmes Sans Peur, I wanted to design a pair of stand out shoes for my Big Day! My gown was already going to be over the top stunning, since it was being custom made by Sharon Sever of Galia Lahav Haute Couture. Since I was to be married at the world renowned Brooklyn Botanical Garden, I wanted the design of my shoes to have a whimsical floral feel, while still being of the moment. The CIARA WEDDING shoes that I created featured 1,720 Swarovski Crystals on the laser cut upper (I had to count them out on my sketch for the pattern placement) so my feet would glitter like diamonds, a customized light blue-gray kid suede that has a champagne shimmer finish, platinum metallic baby calf leather laces, a platinum art deco inspired platform and custom rubber lugg sole so that I would not slip in the grass or on the dance floor! I know that I designed these shoes, but when I actually received them in person, I was taken back by their beauty. It was truly a fairy tale. I wore my dream Galia Lahav gown with my breath taking CIARA WEDDING heels!
