After a proposal in the picturesque island of Maldives, it only made sense for Weiguang and Jia Man to have a fun-filled pre-wedding shoot in our neighbouring island of Bali. A destination shoot planned by Back Alley Creations and Camistry Lab, the video captures behind-the-scenes of the lively pair during the trip, and snippets of the vibrant sights of Bali.
"The place is abundant with diversely rich culture and breath-taking scenery, which makes it a fantastic location for photography," Joo Teng of Back Alley Creations shared.
The two-day shoot saw the crew and the couple waking up before sunrise to capture the golden hour, but the sumptuous meals makes up for the early mornings — which was Jia Man's favorite part of the trip. "The food in Bali was cheap and good! The locals are also very friendly," she chirped.
A collaboration between videography and photography, Joo Teng and Roger of Camistry Lab partnered seamlessly to deliver the destination shoot, which took 6 months of planning and sourcing. "We even arrived 2 days before the shoot to do site recces and explorations to determine the suitability and potential of some locations," Joo Teng explained.
"We met up with Joo Teng a few times to firm up the details over the span of a couple of months," added Jia Man. "We were glad that the schedule was planned efficiently and provided good value with the final product delivered."
