Even though we've had a number of traditional weddings on the blog, each one of them radiates a unique glow and this wedding is no exception. Ichan and Rani tied the knot using not one, but two different Indonesian cultural traditions for their akad nikah and wedding reception. Before we get to that, let's not skip their pengajian and siraman processions which were no less stunning.
Ichan held his pengajian at the beautifully antique Balai Sarwono, while Rani had her own at home. To follow was the siraman procession for the both of them, surrounded by their closest family and friends. We think it's true that happy couples look best, because even though at this point the couple had not been officially married, we bet you simply can't overlook the happy glow beaming from their faces.
For the akad nikah ceremony, the couple had on matching white attires with brown batik sarongs. Rani looked especially stunning. The patterns on her ankle-length white kebaya were so intricately detailed, while her Central Javanese paes makeup perfectly complemented her bridal ensemble. As you might have guessed, their reception was also beautifully held. In the immensely decorated Grand Hyatt Ballroom, Ichan and Rani made their grand entrance, this time wearing gold Sundanese attires. It was such a lovely celebration, complete with traditional dancers and plenty of happiness.
