Just a while ago, Arina and her then-fiancé, Aldy charmed us off our feet with their laid-back yet enchanting pre-wedding album. Today, they are back to amaze us once more with a ballroom wedding that was warm, festive, and absolutely unforgettable.
Their special day began with a solemn wedding ceremony and unfortunately, it started to rain right after. Arina and Aldy could not care less about the weather and still rode a vintage car to their venue as planned. "On the road, everyone was honking at us and those on the street were waving, smiling, or giving us the thumbs up. It's such a beautiful feeling to share your special day with everyone, even strangers," said Arina.
The reception took place at Balai Kartini, which was decorated by Vica Decoration in a night garden theme. Lush greenery along with white and blush flowers adorned the venue, giving an undeniably romantic feel to the whole setting. Arina herself looked beautiful in a floral dress by Lamiik which won her plenty of compliments throughout the day. There to witness it all was the talented Calia Photography, turning every moment into a great memory that will last for a lifetime.
The wedding was so lovely, it's hard to believe that everything took only six months to prepare. "It was pretty hectic and looking back, I wouldn't have been able to do it if it weren't for my sisters and maid of honor," Arina revealed. She also had to deal with the demands of her family, which didn't necessarily fit into the kind of wedding she and Aldy had in mind. In the end, her wedding planning became a valuable lesson in the art of compromise. "A wedding shouldn't force you to do something you don't want, but it also shouldn't ruin your relationship with your loved ones. After all, a wedding is a union of two families, not just the two of us," Arina concluded.
