When Chen first met Ting in Shanghai, he was immediately struck by her elegance and beautiful smile. As they got to know each other deeper, Ting was impressed by how Chen kept his cultural values intact despite having traveled around the world and even studied in Europe. When they finally decided to get married, Chen was determined to give Ting the wedding of her dreams.
Chen then enlisted the help of Wedding Boutique Phuket to help him plan an intimate destination wedding at the historical Cape Panwa Resort. "It was quite unusual to deal directly with the groom rather than the bride. However, Chen was very firm on his ideas on the colors and flowers," said the wedding planner. Flowers and decorations in different shades of red, from blush to fuchsia, were present with a touch of white and orange to tie everything together. "Red is a particularly important color for Chinese couples," the wedding planner explained.
The wedding ceremony was held at a beach-front lawn, where a colorful gazebo lied in front of rows of gold Tiffany chairs adorned with flowers. For the reception dinner, the patio was decorated with Chinese lanterns to create a festive atmosphere. Not to mention rows of immensely decorated tables with a personalized wedding menu and sweet flower cupcake for every guest. That's not all; the couple also prepared a Polaroid guestbook that everyone simply loved. All the guests and the lovely couple had such a great time and after looking at the photos, we can see why!
