"You Jump, I Jump!" Canggih & Stella by Adi

It was in Macau, 2011. Canggih stood nervously. In front of him was a cliff 233 meters deep. He was told to jump off. His face was pale and utterly hesitated. Stella, his date, encouraged him, “Come on, you have promised!" Several nights before, was Stella's birthday party. A year of 5-hours phone conversation before bed had given Canggih enough confidence to kneel down and woo Stella with a bouquet of flower and a gift. The gift was a new smart phone which when activated would be a new text message popped out saying, “Would you be my girlfriend?”. Stella knew the answer would definitely be yes, but instead of jumping around shrieking, she kept her cool and said, “Only if you want to do bungee jumping with me.” Without second thought Canggih agreed, “YES! So we are boyfriend and girlfriend now?” So Stella took him to Macau, on their very first date. To the highest commercial bungee jumping spot in the world. Canggih could hear Stella encouraged him again, “Come on! Jump!” He then decided to have a small discussion with Stella and admitted he was into this height phobia. He said yes that night because it never crossed his mind that the sweet girly Stella would ever have a gut to do bungee jumping at all. "Don’t judge a book by its cover!" Stella smiled. Stella’s elegance and grace might have hid her bravery well that time but after three years of relationship, Canggih and Stella know each others inside and out more than anyone else in this world. They are interlocking like pieces of puzzles regardless of the many opposite interests they posses. They endured 2 years of living in separate continent yet distance did not agitate their love. They make each others laugh in tears, they take care and protect each others. They don’t always agree, but they never raised their voices. They either calmly discuss the matters or walk away until both are cool down. They share similar parenting standards and love each other’s family as they love their own. By these, everyone would know that Canggih and Stella were simply made for each others. Their happiness were contagious, I had a time of my life shooting their pre-wedding session! Cheers, Adi
