Happy New Year! Welcome to 2015! I hope you had a fantastic holiday celebration and are now ready to take on the year with full force. This year is going to be great, I can feel it. As I was going through some of my works to find one I’d like to share with you today, I stumbled upon this album of Khai Shaun & Jue Lin’s Phuket’s wedding and I can not believe that I haven’t shared this one. It’s one of the most magical weddings I have ever attended in my life. It’s, in my personal opinion, how all parties should be done. It’s the kind of wedding I’d like to have if I ever get a chance to do another one. In fact, it’s the inspiration of Fen and my anniversary in Bali last year. Khai Shaun and Jue Lin’s wedding was way, way cool. They gave everyone a super fun time. Beach volley, massages, pool party and free flow drinks all day long, followed by BBQ and more pool party. The next day, they hosted a formal dinner on the garden by the beach. It was perfect! Looking back at this, I got to thinking. Whoever said that we will need to say goodbye to the good fun days when we’re married, really doesn’t know how to have fun at all. I’ve seen old couples who have been married for the longest time still laugh at each others’ jokes and tease each other mercilessly. I’ve watched couples who get silly together, go crazy with good friends together, do things they’ve never done before together, laugh often with each other, and go through years falling in love over and over again with each other. I believe that this is the key to a long lasting marriage: having fun together. Every year, Fen and I decide to put “FUN” in our marriage on our things-to-do-this-year. Every year, we look back and think about how much fun we have and put it down again. Every year, we have a whole lot of fun. I hope you’ll do right this year and put FUN is your marriage. Sure, the definition of “FUN” will vary every year. And sure, life can throw you crazy things at you - new problems, new challenges - and make you choose your priorities. But fun, that’s probably the one thing that can get you through all that. Having fun with each other makes it so much easier. So, choose fun! Make 2015 your year of fun. This year is going to be great. I can just feel it. Cheers, David
