When it comes to being attracted to someone, we all have a certain “type” - people or qualities or attributes that we’re naturally and easily drawn to. “The smarter, the sexier.” or “The closer to God, the better” or there may even be some physical attributes that can instantly make us like what we see. We all have a “type”. When we spot one, there’s no denying the attraction, and it never fails to make us want to find out more about that particular person. But don’t let your definition of “type” limit you from getting to know people outside of it. Don’t box yourself in and allow yourself to meet people who are not “your type” because they might just pleasantly surprise you. I think people who meet and fall in love with their “type” are incredibly lucky. I don’t that everyone gets the chance to meet the person they’ve dreamed about, fall in love, and spend the rest of their lives together. So when I met Steven and Stefanie who both fell in love at first sight because they were each other’s types, I just had to know more! “I’ll always remember the first time I saw her. My brain froze and I said, ‘Damn, that girl is so my type!’ Later on, I fell deeper in love with her after knowing that she’s an independent and hardworking person,” Steven told me. And Stefanie, well… she made me a believer of love at first sight. She said that she remembered him catching her eye and it was as if she instantly fell in love with his good looks, his charming personality and his friendly disposition. Steven and Stefanie are probably the two luckiest people I’ve ever met just because they could meet and fall in love with people they’ve had their hearts set on for a long time. With their “type”. But I think that we can all be as lucky, because to fall in love with someone and to spend our lives with that one person we choose, is a privilege we should never take for granted. Love, Garry
