Your big day will come and go so quickly. Years will pass and you’ll find yourself missing that moment on that day your life was forever changed. I sincerely hope that you’ll never find yourself regretting that you don’t remember every single detail that happened on that momentous day - the people’s faces, their expressions, the words that were spoken, and every moment that you can never return to - because you have a wedding video that captured every single one of those. As a wedding videographer, I never take my job lightly because I know that to shoot a wedding is a job for the future. It is a huge undertaking because it’s about making memories. It is an honor and a challenge at the same time. There is no do-overs or reshoots. There is only one chance to capture the walk down the aisle, the first kiss, the vows, the bouquet toss and the unpredictable moment happens through the wedding. We need to make sure that we don’t miss those critical shots, capable to handle that kind of pressure and still think creatively. There’s a lot preparation behind every “a once in a lifetime event”. It’s a lot of responsibility. And that’s the honor I feel I have been given every time a client chooses us. The thing is, every wedding ceremony and reception has similar rundown, more or less. The fun (and challenge) lies in finding your own unique style. The key to making it unique is to ignore what all the others couple are doing and pay attention to your own personal voice. And all that depends on the you and your love story. That goes the same for the video making process too. The more information we get about your story, the more time you give us to collect footage and pictorial, and the more we can explore and put in creativity into making your video is the more you’ll get on your wedding video too. I often feel excited whenever I get the chance to shoot before the wedding day, like on pictorial shoots, because it provides us with plenty of creative freedom to shoot, adjusting it to the couple’s personality, and giving the live event additional footage that makes it more romantic and memorable.
