To me, personally, that kind of love are stories taken right out of a bestselling romance novel. They are beautiful and heartwarming and it’s no wonder that so many people dream of it. Childhood love is one that grew as the two people who shared it grew. It was tested by time and it survived. It was probably tested by distance and it survived that too. It was also probably tested by the everything that was needed to reach maturity - emotional and physical trials, life choices, adjustments due to choices, etc - and it still survived. She really was seeing someone when they came back in touch. And he really made her choose. We all know who she ended up choosing, of course. In fact, they recently tied the knot to each other, surrounded by their closest family and friends. That day, Devi looked more gorgeous than I had ever seen her. She was glowing with sheer happiness. While Andra, on the other hand, truly looked like every woman’s dream guy. God-fearing, handsome, adoring… I can’t forget what he said to Devi at the altar, “You are the best gift that God has given me. Since the first time we’ve been together, I never stopped giving thanks to Jesus for giving me a woman that I have always wanted.” I remember holding myself to keep the tears from falling and to keep a clear focus on capturing everything on film.
