WITH EVERY BEAD OF MY HEART
by Sisca Zh

This one is for Jane, a client with an upcoming event of her sister’s wedding back then. It’s an interesting piece and a project of patience, dedication, and hard work. To start off, it’s a coral-ish palette and overall a fascinating hue. It’s a refreshing tone with a calming effect. I imagine any skin tone will pair off nicely with this sweet coral color, because it instantly radiates the glow of its wearer. The bodice is also very forgiving. Instead of another sleeveless pattern, I went with short sleeves that is both sexy and flattering. The sleeves finish on an ideal length of the upper arm, revealing just enough skin without making the wearer feeling too exposed. The play on skin is done on the upper chest and shoulder area. With a thin layer of transparent lace fabric, this dress clings to the body like second skin – light and effortless. It gives further illusion to the sweetheart shape that hugs the body with ease. The rest of the dress flows down to a straight shape with layers of luscious lace all over the bottom part. While the full beads dominates this dress, the key to making it a major show that really shines lies on the selection of the lace. As always, I love the symmetrical gorgeous patterns and always enjoy that high couture vibe on my creation. With this one, it’s no exception. The gown finishes with more intricate details on the bottom part of the gown with a lace train that bounces lightly behind. Overall, this is a show-stealing dress, without being too much or extravagant. Something that’s a sister of the bride will wear with pride and confidence without overshadowing the bride. It’s glam, ease, and of course, high fashion.
