Granty & Joshua Wedding
by Ryan Ogilvy

Updated on 23 January 2019, Jakarta

One of my favorite things about Granty and Joshua’s wedding is their go-with-the-flow attitude. I initially felt a little worried about it since I’m kind of used to being given an elaborate rundown, but they assured me to just relax and let go of the desire to have full control of what might happen. The day turned out great and was filled with meaningful moments without unnecessary ceremonial events. To put it briefly, Granty and Joshua managed to plan only what matters and it amazed me how so many hindrances were gone and how being organized can be hassle-free. Very insightful! Furthermore, when I had to do my work, there’s very little stress involved, especially with so much positivity and gags coming from the couple as well as their family and friends. It was as if I had known everyone for a long time – which was not the case at all. In addition to the love they have for each other, I learned that Granty and Joshua also have a divine love of God. It’s in the way they recite His name that I can see how deeply immersed they are in peace. And, it’s in what happened that day that I can see that God loves them too. The morning started with tiny drizzles and it was kind of nerve-wracking since the ceremony was going to be held outdoors. Apparently, it was just His fun little way of giving a touch of breeze to the day so we got to fully enjoy the intimacy and delight comfortably.
