Eric & Stephanie - Photo by Dave

Eric and Stephanie were our last couple to travel with us to the Nordic country last year. They happened to be my first couple in overseas, so it made this pictures of them extra special for me. The first day of the photo session we were “greeted” by a snow storm the second before we step outside the hotel lobby, so we have to wait inside the hotel until the blizzard is clear up. I was so afraid it will ruin the mood of the photo shoot, however Eric and Stephanie being as cool as cucumber take this nonchalantly and instead enjoying the white view in awe. After all we were in Iceland and not everyday we experienced blizzard. Inspired by the movie “The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty” we explored the city area of Iceland. Time suddenly stood still, everyone here is so relaxed and we hardly see any big tall building, instead crisp fresh air, pretty colourful houses, and in certain angle we can see clearly the top of the ice mountain. Thanks to extreme weather we were allowed to hide inside the space ship like church and took photo in this marvellous church. Most of the time during this trip usually the future bride will be the one that are more talkative, and fully in charged of the whole process, same goes to Eric and Stephanie. However it seems like Stephanie understand what Eric wants and needs by looking as his eye contact or gesture, and that is something i hardly come by. I think this whole pre wedding photo somewhat the first challenge for the couple to learn and overcome their differences. You’ve got to accept, adjust and always remember why, when or how the two of you fall in love. This calls for congratulations, You two make this ‘love and marriage’ thing almost seem worth trying. Just kidding—you look so happy, and I’m so happy for you!” Cheers, Dave
