Trina’s best friend celebrated Trina’s entrance to adulthood millstone of turning 21 years old when there was a series of 21 dares given to Trina to carry out. One of them was to have a blind date with a boy, and that boy was Alvin. But, as destiny had it, Alvin couldn’t make it for that blind date and eventually Trina went on that blind date with somebody else who clearly didn’t make the cut. He just didn’t make Trina laugh the way Alvin makes her laugh today. Of course, Trina didn’t know that then. God wouldn’t have it other way, but insisted that somehow along the way of their love stories, Alvin and Trina needed to have their paths crossed and they finally did and the rest as we say, is history.
