How do we work together - Nicolas Laville Couture and other lines
by Nicolas Laville Couture

Updated on 31 October 2017, Singapore

Welcome to the experience of true bespoke luxury! So you’ve decided on one of our NICOLAS LAVILLE lines - this is how we’re work together….. The craft and dedication that go into a Nicolas Laville Couture Gown, requires an extended period of time given the nature of these bespoke pieces. The list below may not be comprehensive enough but will provide a framework for the process. The following services from Nicolas Laville will commence upon the payment of the deposit. • Refined detailed sketches • Full body measurements and a discussion on details • Fabric selections and colour schemes finalisation, not limited to lace, beading and other avenues ______________________________________________________________________________________________ A good selection of sketches will be presented alongside distinctive concepts. With consent for the final scheme given from the client, all fabrics and details will be imported – Lead times will be made known to the clients. For the purpose of a first fitting, a base design will be constructed from Toile(draping fabric) upon your endorsement of the general scheme. This first encounter will allow you to envision how your bespoke piece will fit your frame. During the first fitting, you are offered one (1) major adjustment that does not change the fabric usage quantity on the dress. With consent of the first fitting, the base design will then be produced with the selected fabric, excluding the major embellishments. During the second fitting, a single (1) minor adjustment on details to the embellishments and any desired further refinement that will not affect the overall workmanship of the dress will be allowed should you have any. After receiving consent from you after the second fitting, the final dress will be produced, bearing in mind any desired changes you will have shared. Should a third or even fourth meeting be requested (upon decision of Nicolas Laville) it will be arranged on Nicolas Laville’s time. The final dress produced will be delivered where we’ll meet again for the final handover. You will not be limited to meetings and fittings, but to the duration of the production and final handover of the dress.
