A Diamond Among The Rush
by Memento Idea

Updated on 26 September 2018, Jakarta, Indonesia

Steven and Odelia met each other at their office. They worked in a same company but they are placed in different divisions. They didn't happen to work together in a team, and not much in tandem. But once, through a casual colleagues hangout they knew each other and it was the very start of their journey. Stevens and Odelia have different characteristics that complete each other. Through the planning and designing process for the invitation, Stevens is someone who concerns more about concept, philosophy and details. While Odelia has the sense of beauty and at the same time understands the picture Stevens has in his mind. For our team, everything is so clear and informative through the process so we work for the invitation in a very collaborative way with the couple. Two interesting things about the invitations are gold color we use and a diamond element we inserted in their initials design. Gold always represents timeless beauty and preciousness through all of the seasons. While diamond represents to show "I Love You", it also contains the meaning of "everlasting love". It is because diamond is the hardest substance on earth, aside of its beauty and bright shine under the light. Wedding day is an event we celebrate in just one time, one day, or a few days. But marriage life lasts forever. Most of wedding rings contain diamond with a reason to remind that a wedding celebration is just a very short moment while the journey of marriage is forever. A wedding celebration contains lots of smiles and dance, while marriage life will be full of ups and downs, tears and laughter, hugs and fights. A diamond shall come into couples mind not just for its beauty or reminder of their wedding day, but to remember that their love shall be very strong, unbreakable, and everlasting.
