We love the Greek Islands, for us the smaller and more remote the island the better, so at about 20 square km and a population of just over 1000 we chose Meganissi. Being nearly 2000 miles away, we needed a planner who was a great communicator, with good local knowledge and trusted suppliers to help us organise, Lefkas Weddings is all those things and more!
We first spoke to Claire in October 2014 and she was a total dream, she’s super organised, proactive, creative and gave us complete confidence that everything would go smoothly, which it did. Claire recommended locations for the ceremony and we decided on a beautiful square which overlooks the sea and Skorpios, it really was beautiful. We wanted simple olive and white decoration, Claire set up a Pinterest board so we could share ideas and she could send pictures of suppliers cakes, decorations, bouquets. On the day I remember thinking how everything looked even better than we could have imagined it.
What I really liked about Lefkas Weddings was that whilst we didn’t make things easy, like having the wedding meal at a private villa, up a dirt track, this didn’t phase Claire at all and I felt like she really went above and beyond to make sure it was just right. We took a champagne cruise around the island after the ceremony, the week before the boat had a new caterer and Claire wasn’t 100% satisfied with them so she had been busy searching and testing new suppliers to make sure it was perfect. It’s that kind of extra touch and high standards that really makes all the difference, I knew we were in good hands and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Initial deposit followed by balances 6 weeks before the event
