The Privilege - Adi & Ellen 4Hour Prewedding

"1 universe, 9 planets, 204 countries, 809 islands, 7 seas and I had the privilege of meeting you." The first time we met each other was when we went to the same tour at Harbin 3 years ago. We were both from Indonesia yet we met each other at Harbin in a -30 degrees Celsius temperature. The funny story is, we almost failed to meet each other because Ellen and her mom missed their transit flight from Beijing to Harbin. So the first day of the tour was quite a disappointment for me. But who knew, the next day, suddenly someone beautiful (her mom) came up to me and introduced me to her daughter (who, of course, is beautiful too). And who knew, 3 years later, here we are engaged and will be getting married soon. Ellen is one of the greatest blessings I have received from God. She is not just pretty but also smart. She is always willing to learn and grow even if it is not comfortable. The Ellen I know after the first time we met has grown to be stronger, kinder, and better day by day and she makes me proud to have her as my fiancé. Our relationship was not and still is not always in an ideal situation and condition but she never gives up in our relationship and keep working to make us better. And for me that is a proof of love. I have learned that there is no such thing as a perfect couple and perfect relationship. Just two imperfect people who accept each other’s flaws and choose to stay in love. Two imperfect people who keep forgiving each other for their mistakes and keep moving forward to fall in love again and again and again. I am grateful for these 3 years of our relationship and I’m looking forward to grow old together with you until death separates us. ~Adi
