The wedding of Cindy and Handoko would easily be one of the many weddings that I will remember throughout my career. And it is not merely due to the extravagant and dramatic festivities to it. True, it was probably one of the most spectacular weddings back in 2016 and definitely makes to the top 3 of the most luxurious and elegant weddings I have personally handled of all times. There were endless performance of big names and influential artists with the likes of Syahrini and VJ Daniel. The opulence and lavishness to their union day is highly understandable, considering that both the bride and groom came from fashion background. Cindy is a fashion lover of her own rights and she proved it with her personal design and custom-tailored wedding dress of over 18.000 Swarovski crystals embedded on it. The handsome Handoko himself is in the fashion industry and they both own boutiques of notable names. But beneath the flashes of lights and layers of glamours, I got to know their personal story, which is what made them quite the unforgettable pair in my eyes. Cindy and Handoko started as high school friends but soon separated as life took them on different journeys. Cindy headed off to study abroad while Handoko relentlessly pursued the girl of his dream by all means. It may sound simple, but for those who’ve gone through it, distance is not an easy feat. Yet these two managed to not only pull through, but persevered and ended up tying the knot. Now isn’t that something to be remembered indeed?
