Not a usual outdoor matrimony, it was a wedding vow renewal ceremony of Mr. Aang and Mrs. Betty which was very, very beautiful and heartwarming. Simply put, a vow renewal is a way to celebrate your marriage. Perhaps you've made it to 2, 5, 10, 25 or 50 years together and you want the world to know you'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Maybe you want to reaffirm your commitment to each other after a rough period in your relationship. There's no wrong reason to renew. Mr. Aang and Mrs. Betty chose to have an intimate reaffirmation held outdoor. Inviting just children and grandchildren, close family and friends who've known them through the years. It's like recalling the moment you were joined together from where the marriage has brought you to until today. Simple set up overlooking the hills, with sunrise peeking in. Such a beautiful way to celebrate life. Surrounded by loved ones, Mr. Aang charmingly walked in and waited for his lovely wife to come while Mrs. Betty was escorted down the aisle by her son. It was quite emotional watching such thing happen before your eyes. Knowing that all of this, the marriage and its ups and downs required such strong commitment, and now they were proving it again. If this is not true love, we don't know what is.
