– BE MYKONIAN Could it be the superb Italian aesthetics, that to me always seem as innate, the life experiences of this couple’s fun-loving, creative, and thoroughly captivating private world that make this wedding entirely radiate with bliss? To me, it is both. But it is also passion, romance, heart, harmony and breathing, yes, breathing. Love may find you gleefully oblivious to all its works, but when it finds you grounded and in your body, it is when you get to realize how it liberates the soul. As a Vipassana and Metta yoga instructor, Sicilian beauty Federica knew that very well, and when she met Nicola in Mykonos in 2012 she felt that life was never going to be the same. The two New Yorkers decided to tie the knot – where else- on the isle of winds, and their Myconian wedding was a sweet treat to all of their guests and loved ones; a welcome party with syrtaki dance and whimsically named cocktails, divine finger food and endless partying at the beach all to the music of the amazing London Essentials, a collective of five nomadic musicians who performed 24/7 and had me from the first note. At this point allow me to wholeheartedly thank the incredible team of planners Vanessa and George for their invaluable and keen eye to the arrangement of every single, stunning detail.
