September 2008 – Vancouver, BC. The first time I saw you, I never thought of this day. I thank God for giving us the chance to meet and to be together. I may not be the romantic type of guy who is good at expressing my feeling. I asked ‘why do you look so pale’ or ‘what happen to your eyebrow’ or most of the times I did not even notice you had changed your make up or hair style not because I want to focus on your negatives but because you are already perfect to me and you have too many positives to mention. I want you to know that you mean the world to me. You know me better than anyone else in this world and somehow you still manage to love me. You encourage me and you accept me for who I am. Because of you, I cry, I smile, I laugh. On this special day, you look beautiful and stunning in this wedding dress. You have made me the happiest man alive today. I don’t have to hope that our future together will be a happy one because I know it will be, because every day I get to wake up to see you and that I will love you twice as much as the day before. The last 5 years 10 months and 18 days has been wonderful and I can’t wait to grow old with you and spend the next lifetime with you. In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my vow to be your faithful partner for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health. I promise to love and care for you and I will try in every way to be worthy of your love.
