December 2016 marks the opening of Opia, Dining Destination in Jimbaran, Bali. Located adjacent to Puri Temple Hill, Opia offers a unique destination worthy venue perched ledge-side of the magnificent Jimbaran quarry that sets the stage for a culinary experience. Take the afternoon to bask in the natural beauty offered by the locations altitude while sampling a range of refined Asian-inspired tapas and world class molecular cocktails or enjoy the spot lit ambiance after the sun goes down with an array of signature dishes and wine labels that will make your night one that will not be forgotten for all the right reasons. Executive Chef, Nicolas Lazzaroni, previously the mastermind of Bridges Bali, Uma Cucina and Settimo Ceilo, has created and tailor make a menu that emphasizes the magical environment and surrounding resources of Jimbaran. Using local and ethnically sourced produce from both land and sea to develop a refined Asian-inspired menu of tapas and sharing plates. The menu focuses on serving a contrast of textures, flavors and colors. Dishes are plated with the theme of “modern nature” to highlight the venues natural beauty. Opia’s menu is designed to invoke elements of interaction between diners with the concept of sophisticated informal dining and sharing plates whilst being relaxed enough to look around and enjoy the elements as a complete dining experience.
