Cirebon is known as the city of shrimps located in West Java. I was taking a train from Jakarta and it took me three hours to be there. The Locals told me that now Cirebon has become a transit spot for those who wants to travel from Jakarta to Surabaya, furthermore many people are starting to expand their business to Cirebon Normally wedding reception in Cirebon is influenced by Semarang and Surabaya culture. The guest will be served by 8 to 10 course menu and at the same time they are presenting their traditional ritual like dancing and cultural activities on the stage. I am not exaggerating the tittle when I decided to write "The Royal Wedding in Cirebon." The reception contains 100 tables that allows 1000 invitees to sit, eat, talk, and have fun. One thing that made me amaze was when I realize the couple used the Cinderella carriage as their wedding car. I am just so grateful and feel honored for the opportunity to experience this Royal Wedding reception and working together with one of my role models- Becky Tumewu.
