Bride’s Full Name – Nadia Fanaie Esfahani Groom’s Full Name- Saher Saurin Shodhan Saher is from Ahmedabad, living in London, works in technology consulting in the tech startup industry Nadia is from Paris, living in London, works in asset management (finance) They met on their first week of university at Sciences Po in Le Havre (France). The first time they ever spoke was at the townhall ceremony organised for Sciences Po to kick off the start of the academic year. They got married in a small and intimate civil ceremony in April 2017 at the Kensington and Chelsea townhall in London. They both like to keep these types of events small and intimate, however they could not escape the big fat Indian Wedding! Their most treasured memories (plural) would be the month long trip they took around south India when they were 20 years old. To this day they are still surprised their parents let them go on this trip alone! They travelled by train, sleeper bus, ambassador car etc and ate road side tandoori chicken wrapped in newspaper that they took back to their hotel! They have done 3 and a half years of long distance relationship since they have been together. They decided this wasn’t getting them anywhere and hence had the discussion about getting married. Nadia’s parents were moving back to London on April 8th and they announced to them the wedding was scheduled on April 13th!
