As you scroll through the pictures, you can tell that everything about this wedding is Chinese inspired. The decoration, wedding favors, and our favorite, is the dress. That exceptionally beautiful dress is impossible not to admire. It is a light blue dress beautified with bold vibrant flowers, with a high collar model which is a signature of a Chinese inspired dress. The button down detail makes the dress so chic, and the train behind it adds sophistication. The dress looked really great on the bride, Liz. With a bun up do adorned with flowers and a red tint on her lip she walked and waltzed with a beauty that stood out in the crowd.
Here is what the bride said:
Andrew and I started off as colleagues working in the same company in the early 2010. Similar interests and late night works together brought us closer and we finally decided to date. I got engaged in October 2013 in the midst of Autumn Leaves at Grosvenor Square, London and my wedding was in August 2014. So i have about 10 months to prepare. Thankfully I had a wedding organizer – Private WO, headed by the very capable Lina Handayani, who made sure that things were running like clockwork despite me being in a different country. A grand engagement celebration in the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Mulia Jakarta was held on 25 August 2014. The Jakarta affair took on the theme of chinoiserie and was attended by about 2,000 well-heeled guests. The chinoiserie theme carried through every single touch point of the celebration. From the invitation, to the décor, to the dress, to the entertainment in the foyer of the ballroom, to the wedding favours. My dress was beautiful and unique – it made me feel like a Spanish princess. My makeup artist, Donny Liem, was an absolute magician. Best of all was my photography and videography crew who were able to capture every single minute of this momentous occasion.
