Embracing island life, Calvin and Melissa solemnised their union by the sea, exchanging their vows under the shady cabana of Stella, an alfresco diner at Changi Coast Walk.
Underneath clear blue skies and amidst the lush greenery, the venue was a picture of tropical paradise. Cream-coloured Tiffany chairs and bouquets of baby's breath complemented its rustic charm, entirely styled by Stitch X Marker.
Settling down after 6 years of dating since they met in polytechnic, Melissa described Calvin's proposal as "funny and sweet with lots of hiccups, but all sorts of memorable". This was also the case as they prepared for the wedding, which took less than 2 months to plan!
The ceremony and dinner reception was a cosy affair, with about 50 family members and close friends who tucked into a delicious buffet spread of Western eats like lobster bisque, pork bratwurst, cajun chicken and roast lamb.
Dressed in casual attire, the guests unwound in friendly company, bright smiles painted across their faces as the women vied to be the "lucky one" to catch the bridal bouquet. The event was peppered with blissful moments photographed by Dolce2Dolce Wedding, who also captured the newlyweds stealing a tender kiss as the solemnisation came to a close.
Despite the tight timeline, plus their Bridezilla and Groomzilla moments their wedding was a success. "I loved every bit of it and it didn't rain. It was casual, fun, and everything just fell into place!"
