Karina envisioned a Javanese kebaya, and we reimagined it through the lens of modern elegance. Inspired by the timeless allure of Classic Velvet Kebaya (Kebaya Beludru), traditionally black and structured, we crafted our own fabric: Delicate black french tulle, intricately embroidered by hand. To enrich its opulence, we adorned the piece with a refined blend of silver, gold, and bronze beadwork. A sculpted waistband and straight front line shape the silhouette, making it look taller and more graceful, offering both grace and precision. Every element was considered, from multiple neckline trials to the final composition of baroque florals, chandelier accents, and a subtle Javanese train that trails like a quiet statement.
