Caroline & Gavin - Wedding
by I Love Bali Photography

Updated on 18 November 2017, Bali

Mallacoota doesn’t sound like a familiar name. It’s the name of a small town beyond Melbourne’s outskirts. You need some six hours of driving from the city’s epicenter to get there. In Mallacoota where kangaroos and koalas roam freely, Caroline and Gavin have spent six blissful years together as a pair of lovers. They saw each other during the last days at the college before agreeing to forge a stronger relationship, so it’s nothing unintentional that they’ve been working at the same corporation. And six years of living together is a long story before they decided to tie the knot and solemnize their marriage in a nuptial. Both committed to host a memorable wedding, Caroline and Gavin opted the idyllic island of Bali as a backdrop to the day when they exchanged their marriage pledges. They have pored over brochures and browsed the Net for the suitable venue before they finally chose Melia Bali, which offers a ‘genuinely Bali’ atmosphere. The hotel boasts a tropical nuance and the beach nearby is captivating. So they set the wheels in motion. A Bali Wedding was on its way. For the central theme of the wedding party, they opted to use the blend of whites and violets, and the outcome was an endless strain of enchanting decorations. The Wedding Bale where the procession would be staged was festooned with the best of materials; a Buddhist wedding procession was under way. Properties like Buddhist statuettes and figurines plus incense burners adorned the tables. On that day, their villa was bustling with commotion. The couple was drown in the clamor of revelers. A pair of bridesmaid and another pair of groomsmen readied themselves to escort the couple. The long awaited moment finally arrived. The bridegroom made his way to the altar, the groomsmen dutifully flanking by his sides. A very select crowd of 32 invited guests; intimate friends and family members, had been waiting anxiously. Moments later, the bride slowly approached the altar, accompanied by her father, the bridesmaids and an umbrella man. A Buddhist priest who officiated the ceremony that ran very smoothly and finally they were officially declared husband and wife The revelry continued late into the evening where they hosted a wedding dinner. Following the newlywed’s grand entrance the revelers were to cheer a champagne pouring ritual over a precipitous stack of glasses on the table. Dinner were served after the groom, groomsmen, the bridesmaid and representatives from both families delivered their speeches. The reception was momentary halted due to a brief downpour, but the festivity resumed once the happy couple made their first dance. When the music stopped, a spectacular show of pyrotechnics brought the party to a close. The spectacle of that unforgettable night reached its climax when the bride’s parents showered the happy couple with traditional gifts of money. Happy wedding, Caroline and Gavin. Your Bali Wedding was awesome.
