    Booked at your own risk. Very poor customer service

    We booked Hizons a year before our wedding date, everything went smoothly. My planner (Ms. Gale) keeps on communicating with me and even answer my queries until pandemic came. The last time she answered me is when I rescheduled my wedding date to December but here comes June I ask her if in case the Govt will only allow 50% (based on IATF Guidelines) of the guest will we be able refund half of the money that we paid and guess what NO RESPONSE to my call, text messages even on viber (FYI, we are fully paid with our wedding package as early as February). I reach out to contact Hizons thru mobile and landline(bcoz I felt something questionable on how they deal with customers), they keep asking for details and keep telling us somebody from them will call and answer our concerns (not once, many times). Yet, no one did. September 1 when my Husband called Hizons for the nth time and finally somebody from Hizons in the name of Ms. Chesca called-back and explain everything, that they are still fixing stuff for new normal and waiting for new guidelines etc. I ask about the refund, she answered me that it will be refunded but doesnt gave me in depth detail about that. Yes, I knew we are in the middle of crisis, but heck you should answer your client and dont leave them hanging. We only have 3 months to prepare and we are sure that it is not feasible to have a maximum guests, we're fine to half of it yet Hizons can't settle with this matter to fit/customize our package based on what we want. We came to the point that we went to their office at QC yet no one is there until Mr. Ryon noticed us and as usual get our details and said someone from them will get back to our concern. Monday came, 2 days after that little chitchat to Mr. Ryon, no one, NOBODY called. Then I decided to email Mr. Ryon that, this is not good. I ask him that someone from Hizon must immediately act on this matter. My husband, on that day was furiously mad and commented on their posts. Thats why Ms. Chesca called him. We said we want full refund. She explains to us that the 10K reservation is non-refundable and if incase we want to continue, half of the amount we paid will be refunded only on December after the event(bakit ganon?ayaw nyo irefund yung half, nagamit nyo na ba yung pera?). But our decision was fixed, we want a full refund (kung simula pa nga lang ng event ang hirap nyo ng makontak at pinagpapasapasahan nyo kami kung kani kaninong tao what more kung after pa). My point is 1. Hizons Staffs lacks professionalism on how to handle their client, they even dont bother to answer our calls kahit ring ng ring ang mga mobile nila and nakita mo na seen na nila ang message mo sa viber. Kabastusan yun! 2. No word of honor, poor customer service. Kapag sinabi mong our staff from wedding event/planner will call you back, call us back. Kasi naghihintay kami ng feedback from you. Sign of courtesy and professionalism. Umabot ng ilang buwan ang inquiries namin ni isa sa mga staff nyo hindi kami binigyan ng definite answer. Umaasa ako na sasabihin nyo na sige ma'am icustomize natin atleast half of your guest muna to make sure, and ganito ang set-up, ganitong amount yung marerefund nyo maam etc. 3. You left us client/customer hanging. Iniwan nyo kami sa ere habang papalapit ng papalapit yung event namin. 4. Answer us directly. Hindi yung may tanong lang kami pinagpapasapasahan nyo kami at ginagawang tanga na kami ang client kami pa naghahabol sainyo. 5. Lack of preparedeness. Yung ibang catering services nakahanda na sa new normal kayo naghahanda palang. Kaya wala kayong maisagot sa mga clients nyo. 6. Does the owner of Hizons are aware of bad reviews, if they are then why they allow this to happen? okay lang sana kung kami lang yung may incident na ganito but to our surprise ang daming nagrereklamo sainyo. Ano dedma lang? 7. Lastly, to couple who will book Hizons for their events (book at your own risk). I hope hindi mangyari sainyo ang nangyari sa amin. I wont change my review until I get our refund, though ours is on process. But let us see how you act on this. May nababasa ako na pahirapan yung magrefund ang Hizon's ang tagal daw bago nila makuha. They gave words na in 3 weeks to 1 mos maibabalik na sa amin ang pera, sige but mind you we won't have second thoughts to elevate this or file a formal complaints even i-media yung ginawa nyo sa amin kapag hindi naibalik ang pera namin. Hope this incident will teach Hizon's to value every client they have. Alam namin na malaking catering services kayo madali lang sainyo idump ang mga client nyo pero hindi yun you knew the power of endorsement. Kaya may lumalago at nasisirang negosyo or services dahil sa referral system.

    Poor Customer Service

    My fiancé and I are getting married next year 2020 and our reception will be at Shercon Resort in Batangas. We chose the diamond package which includes Hizon’s Carering. We were so happy with the food options that they offer but wanted to do plated service instead of buffet style. We sent a couple of emails and a message throug their website inquiring whether it is possible to do plated service. However no one replied to us. After half a month of waiting, someone finally sent us an email but didn’t answer our question. All she said in the email was “are you still looking for a catering service?” I replied to that email asking AGAIN if they are able to do plated service and it’s been more than a week and we still have not received any answers. This is ridiculous. They do not have a sense of urgency. We are planning a wedding, one of the most important days of our lives and they have not replied to me, my fiancé or our wedding planner. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Hizon’s based on their poor customer service. We’re from Canada and I’m sorry to say that Hizon’s Catering has lost many potential customers. Definitely NOT recommending them. This sucks because I was looking forward to having them cater our wedding reception. Their food options were really good. It’s the CUSTOMER SERVICE and PROFESSIONALISM that is lacking.

    First Impressions Last

    I'm already hearing good feedback from other people about Hizon's even when I was still in college and even when I haven't yet met my now-husband. Fast forward to the year when we were already engaged (Jan. 2016), one of the major supplier we first looked for is the catering service. And, that's when I told my now-husband to try Hizon's. We had our first food tasting in Blue Leaf Mckinley and there we met our first AE Alea Jean Duran, a very sweet and bubbly lady we really enjoyed talking to. :D She was very accommodating to all our needs even up to the day we were handed over to our new AE due to her pregnancy later on that year. We loved their food even on our first food tasting that we had to repeat it with our parents and now-in-laws for them to taste it as well beforehand. We booked them right there and then 'coz we felt we already had the right choice! Their wedding packages come with flexible decorative themes and different freebies depending on your choice. Everything went smoothly from planning to detailing until Wedding day. They were also kind enough to take our own bought nacho chips and dips to be served per table for our guests' cocktail hour. One of our goals on our Wedding Day is to make our food memorable for our guests and glad we achieved it through them. We will definitely recommend Hizon's to couples who are looking for a very affordable wedding package that is worth of their money's worth! :)
