Well, at least in Singapore; Its refreshing when it rains. The trouble is, it rained right as we were nearing the precious golden hour. With the brilliant sunset shrouded behind clouds, we were left with hues of pink and purple to play in; In hindsight, they fit perfectly into our little shoot. Back to the start, it seemed the sun had some sort of quarrel with the ground beneath and boy was the fallout uncomfortable, hot, humid and sweaty. A part of me was glad to be shooting where the sea meets land, and on the corner of the coast, Qin Xian and Eunice eased into our awkward conversations and lip rolls -the things we do for laughs - Most of the shoot felt like hanging out, and thats really what we love most about this job, making friends, cracking jokes all while capturing the essence of their collective selves. So maybe the sunset wasn’t so perfect, and the passerbys were a hassle to frame off screen. We had fun creating memories and when we look back at the start of this race, I know that it’d be with a smile. Big thanks to Qin Xian and Eunice for having us (please pardon the titanic joke- 'paint me like one of your french girls’) it was all in the spirit of having a good time, and I hope we achieved that for you guys!
