Novia and Nathaniel Semara Uluwatu Wedding
by Flying Bride

Updated on 03 May 2016, Bali

When I found out that it only took one look for Nathaniel to fall in love at first sight with Novia, I became a fan of their sweet love story. I believe such story deserves to be celebrated with a romantic wedding that has a sweet vibe to represent their sweet love. With that in mind, and the fact that some of the meaningful gifts Nathaniel gave Novia during their courtship were bouquet of roses in Ivory, followed by Peach and Pink roses for subsequent events, these colors were chosen to be the color palette of their wedding. The romantic proposal itself took place during a fishing and scenic trip, an activity they often do as a couple together. Hence, the look and feel of this wedding was organic with greeneries and some wooden elements included to bring in the “nature” into their wedding decoration. We also included the fishing trip element from the proposal story into the wedding in a fun but subtle way. A replica of a white fishing boat was created especially for this wedding, and decorated not only with flowers and greeneries but also the paddle! This uber cute setting served as a background and prop for guests to take picture with during the cocktail hour. Not only the guests would go home with a fun memorabilia of the wedding (with them paddling on a beautifully decorated boat), but the guests would forever remember the romantic story when Nathaniel proposed to Novia during a fishing trip.
