Javanese-Balinese Inspired Wedding of Mita and Billy
by Elior Design

Updated on 09 October 2018, Bandung

Mita & Billy’s wedding was a fun one! The concept of their wedding was rustic with a slight touch of Javanese-Balinese details. We were so excited when the couple decided that they wanted to combine both of their families’ cultures. The reason was because Mita came from a Javanese family while Billy came from a Balinese family. Intended to visually describe the different family background of both the groom and bride, we used Javanese Batik fabrics as details for their Akad decoration. On the other hand, the aisle of their wedding reception was complemented by Balinese umbrellas. And guess what, these two different details actually looked good when combined! Aside from the Javanese-Balinese details, there were a lot of pine cones in their big day. This was because Mita was a tomboy and didn’t want their wedding to be dominated by flowers. They chose pine cones and tree branches instead. Both as individuals and a couple, Mita & Billy were very fun-loving. That was why when they walked through the aisle, those lovebirds were greeted by the guests with full joy and excitement. We had a great time working with Mita & Billy for their big day and we hope the best for them.
