To further enhance this culturally rich setting, we made use of Peranakan’s vibrant colours, geometric floral prints and nyonya desserts as elements for this styled shoot. Not to forget the gorgeous figure-hugging sarong kebayas that Alene worn, which were specially selected from her mother-in-law’s personal collection! We were extremely elated to have played a part in fulfilling Alene’s wish of rediscovering her husband’s Peranakan roots with this shoot!
