Mia and Williams is a Hong Kong-based couple who have decided to celebrate their wedding in Florence, Italy. The couple wanted to bring all of their friends and family to Tuscany and this was the perfect occasion. Hence, they have chosen a Renaissance Italian Villa in the hills of Florence, which is surrounded by a vast Italian Gardens.
Since Mia and Williams are having their wedding in Florence, the Cradle of Renaissance itself, it is only right to celebrate their union by having a Renaissance theme. Incorporating the origins of the couple, the theme was applied with a unique Asian twist to it. After a wedding ceremony in a hall decorated with hanging greens and flowers of an Italian garden, guests are welcomed to experience bric-a-brac during cocktail hour. Bric-a-brac is a market people visit in Italy, but instead of just using Italian ornaments, they have included Asian decorative elements into it. The exhibit was complete with a cheese table and a gelato stand too!
In the meantime, the reception area was already decorated to perfection. The main dinner table was a mix of Asian chinoiserie vases filled with colorful flowers. Asian lanterns were also hanged overhead and the Tuscan chairs gave the right balance. That's not all, they have also integrated some artists which performed during the event. From a lady dressed up in an antique Renaissance dress over a bed covered in real grass reading classic poems to the guests, down to ballerinas dressed up as butterflies dancing throughout the dinner between the guests.
Looking at photos from Bianco Photography, Mia and Williams' happiness was undoubted. There was not one frame in which the bride didn't grin from ear to ear and to liven up the night, the groom along with the couple's friends did a rendition of a Chinese Karaoke as a sort of joke to the married couple. What a lovely night it was, do you agree? Take another look at the photos and add ones you love right away to the inspiration board!
