Wedding Proposal of John-Oliver to Cara
by Awesome Memories Photography

Updated on 21 November 2017, Raffles Hotel

Organising a wedding proposal in Singapore from the other side of the world can be quite a challenging task! And that's where Flytographer comes in to play a very important role in helping the groom-to-be organise a surprise wedding proposal to his sweetheart in a destination city. Earlier this year, we had a Colombian propose at Gardens by the Bay, and now a British picking Raffles Hotel as his choice of location! John-Oliver had only been to Singapore twice, and both times very briefly. He had in mind somewhere romantic and perhaps quieter than the main hustle and bustle of the city centre, with preferably a touch of colonial architecture. And the lawn at Raffles Hotel seemed to perfectly fit the bill! We have been there a number of times in the morning and it always feels very serene and somehow has a picturesque look with the greens, and small fountain, and the colonial white building at the back. And we knew that this spot had to be the perfect spot for John-Oliver to propose to Cara. As always, we were super excited to be shooting a proposal, and this was no different. The tears from Cara flowed freely and we could feel how happy and surprised she was. We couldn't be any happier for the lovely couple! :D
