The afternoon came and we are getting closer to the big day of Bayu & Asha. Plataran Cilandak, the venue, has been beautifuly adorned. Asha and Bayu is a relaxed couple. In their big day, they did not seem tense or nervous. We could always see a smile in their face. Asha occasionally joked with the make-up artist or the fashion designer, while Bayu casually examined and having a small discussion with the committee, who are doing the last preparation of evening receptions. The reception begins when the sun began to dim. Reception day was divided into two sessions. The first session is for family, and the second session for driends of the bride and groom. The bride and groom were so relaxed, making the atmosphere of the reception very warm, humble, and fun. One by one greet them and they always reply with a smile. It was getting dark, and their friends started to come. Accompanied by music of archipelago, the atmosphere of the reception becomes increasingly unique and happy. Both the bride and groom mingle with the guests. There’s no rigid atmosphere that surrounds the reception that night, because their smiles continues to accompany the night. For us, this experience is so impressive and unforgetable. Not only because of the reception conducted in Javanese culture, but also the atmosphere that was built by them, their families, and their friends. Such a wonderful night.
