As an Indonesian photographer, it is my privileged to be able to be exposed to all kinds of traditions. Javanese is one that is most beautiful and gracious, every detail has a meaning. In Javanese, siraman is used as a conductor of prayers to ensure their marriage runs smoothly. This was the tradition that Kharisma and Ade decided on. The warm beautiful decorations by Airy design were as warm as their relationships with their families. Looking through the photos you’ll see that they both have close family relationships, especially with their fathers. Hugs and kisses were everywhere, yes, must be hard to let go of your favourite son and daughter. Elegant kebaya worn by Kharisma is by Merras bride. A beautiful family and celebrations I must say. Looking forward for many more traditions to witness.
