Australian Bridal Fashion Week (ABFW) is the first event of its kind for the Australian wedding market. Launched by Weddings and Events of Australia (WEOA) the support body for elite businesses in the Australian wedding market, the inaugural ABFW held in June of 2015. ABFW presented Australian bridal couture designers with a forum to showcase their new collections and to launch not only to the media, but directly to brides and bridal gown retailers. The mission was to make Australian Bridal Fashion Week the premier bridal fashion event in Australia. Felicia Sarwono the winner of Melbourne Makeup Artist of the year 2014 was invited to participate in this magnificent event, to work along top Australian bridal designers, models and other industries elites.
