Peonies Boutique Weddings was established in 2008 by a mother-daughter creative team, Darlene and Brooke. They actually started the business by supplying wedding flowers and from there, they have continually expand the services list until they became a full-service wedding planner company. Their mission is to create cohesive, beautiful and stress-free weddings for the couples by taking care of all the tiny little details. Weddings are the perfect field for this mother and daughter's combined skill set as Darlene is a highly skilled florist of over 20 years, experienced interior designer and successful businesswoman. Meanwhile, Brooke is a tech-savvy and fashion-forward graphic designer and stylist. "Together, our skills fit seamlessly with the wedding industry. We love how creative we get to be!" said Brooke excitedly.
In years of handling weddings, they surely has faced such unique experiences that challenged them to be better than before. Just recently, Brooke recalled there was a couple who were unsure of what they wanted and asked Darlene to surprise them. As their main goal while designing is to create a wedding experience through their styling, they brought together oversized floral displays on the mantle, layers of linens and an abundance of candles. There were also lounging zones and drink area to compliment the dining styling. And the result? On the wedding day, the bride burst into tears as she walked into her venue. "This is the ultimate compliment that every wedding planner would love to experience." shared Brooke.
According to Peonies Boutique Weddings, the key in running their company is to keep their confidence that they know what they are doing and it will show in their final designs. They really aim to encourage their clients to find a style that is true to them rather than 'the hottest trend'.
