One Couple’s Vintage Rustic Wedding in Portland

Color:

After three years of friendship and one-and-a-half year of dating, Aaron and Marguerita put together the perfect example of semi rustic-vintage wedding. The details of their wedding were so adorable. From the mismatched chairs, fruit boutonniere, to the colorful hanging mugs and the chalkboards, they were all mixed-and-match between vintage and rustic patterns, done perfectly. Maria Lamb Photography snapped all the pretty details and they are all waiting for you in our gallery.

Here's a little something from the bride:

Aaron and I went to the same school and met through our mutual friends. After about three years of friendship and time that we delicately and patiently took to discover and learn about one another we made it official and began a relationship as a couple. When we were entering this relationship, we knew it was the one we wanted to be our last, we wanted this relationship to be the beginning of the rest of our lives.

Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be, it was small, simple and intimate. We held the ceremony at the church we both attend. Here we were able to attain the clean simple and semi rustic vintage feel we were going for. We hardly brought in any decorations because the church looks beautiful as it is. The mismatched chairs, old rugs and thrift items gave it just the feel we wanted.

The reception was held at North Star Ballroom, this venue provided the right backdrop to show off the items we rented and thrifted to decorate this great party for our closest family and friends. A wonderful wedding was preceded by an almost more amazing honeymoon. We started at a cabin in White Salmon, Washington and then went on a two and a half week journey through the Mediterranean.
