Despite their cultural background differences, today's featured couple once again proved that love indeed knows no boundaries. "Steven was born in Balikpapan, Indonesia, and was raised in a religious family. Meanwhile, Anh came from Vietnam and her family has a more modern value," said their wedding planner from Nagisa Bali. "They met in the United States during college and have been together ever since. They are so funny and so in love with each other. It was just about time until they eventually get married," he continued.
On their wedding day, the couple envisioned a timeless all-white wedding. As Pandawa Cliff Estate, their venue which was set in a tropical surrounding, was already graced by beautiful Balinese architecture, they simply asked Bali Event Styling to adorn it with minimal decoration. To perfect the reception dinner, the couple ensured to put their wedding menu as top priority, thus entrusted Lumbung Catering to serve the feast. Other than the delicious treats, there were also a fire dance performance as well as live acoustic band that made their overseas guests feel welcomed.
Having held an outdoor wedding, it becomes inevitable that the weather plays a major role for the event to run smoothly. "The weather was terrible during the whole week and the groom was worried. On the wedding day, it did rain a little bit but both Anh and Steven didn't seem to be discouraged despite the drizzle. They all continued to have a wonderful night and laughing over the speeches," the planner said. Just before ending the celebration, a surprise video was played. The entire atmosphere became intensely emotional as Anh broke down in tears watching the heartwarming speech from his brother who couldn't make it to the wedding.
