Everyone wants to have the perfect wedding as it's a once in a lifetime event. If you're planning to throw an intimate simple wedding instead of a big grand one with thousands of guests, we'll give you some insights on how to make your special day an unforgettable moment of yours, intimately.

Invitation

Do: With just a simple wedding to celebrate, the first list you need to remember is to cut down your guest list. Just count people who matter most in the last 5 years your life. By doing this, you'd get a lovely and meaningful wedding celebration with your close friends and relatives rather than making it to be a weighty event.

Don't: Don't feel heart-burdened to limit your guests. You're the one who in charge of your wedding and you can do anything to get the dream wedding.

Venue

Do: Your guests list should be fewer than 100. So, it is better for you to have an alfresco wedding. But if you're concerned with the weather, you could always opt for a small indoor venue or rent a tent for your outdoor wedding. This way, both of you can easily mingle with your guests. Also, try to keep your ceremony and reception in one place.

Don't: Just keep in mind that if the wedding venue is too big, it probably won't suit your event with guests scattering around, preventing to have that intimate feeling you are looking for.

Decoration

Do: If you've decided to celebrate your wedding in a place with great scenic view, all you need is just simple decoration. You could put some DIY decorationmade by families and friends, and bridesmaids. With this little touch, it will let you and your guests cherish your wedding moments more.

Don't: There aren't many restrictions for decorations, but don't let your wedding day be less perfect just because the decoration doesn't go well with your chosen venue.

Catering

Do: Consider the number of guests invited with the variety and the number of portions you are going to have. For example, we know everyone loves desserts, but think again about the wedding cake you have, will it be enough? If not, you could always add some cupcakes to your dessert table.

Don't: Don't order too much food just because you want to impress your guests. For an intimate wedding, you will know each of your guests well and some of their taste and preferences. So, take a closer look on what they would love to have and consider your preferences too.
